AI in Academics

At ACE, we take a hands-on, ethical approach to AI. From bachelor’s programs to doctoral research, AI is woven into coursework, support services and faculty development. Our students gain the tools and strategies they need to design AI-informed practices that are relevant, responsible and ready for the real world. 

Programmatic Integration

AI concepts are embedded throughout our bachelor’s to doctoral courses, with a strong focus on ethical collaboration, classroom innovation and real-world applications. For instance, future educators learn how to design AI-informed lessons that help students understand how AI works and how it’s used across industries.

Resources and Support

We’re currently building an expanding library of practical AI tools and how-to guides to help our students confidently navigate this fast-changing field. Current resources include, but are not limited to:

Faculty Leadership

ACE faculty lead by example, modeling ethical and practical AI use in every course. They follow the same AI and academic integrity guidelines as our students and regularly contribute tools and insights, including our guide to ethically incorporating AI into course design.

AI in Business

At ACE, we’re working to ensure AI is brought into the classrooms ethically – and our efforts don’t stop there. We’re using AI behind the scenes to work smarter, connect better and stay ahead of the curve. 

Integrating AI Across ACE Operations

From admissions to Human Resources, departments across ACE are exploring and adopting AI tools that align with our values. Our internal AI Task Force leads the rollout of AI tools that are reviewed for thoughtful integration while staff receive ongoing training to ensure responsible and ethical AI adoption across the organization. Examples of current tools used at ACE include: 

• Academics: Leaders are effectively using AI to streamline administrative tasks, enhance decision-making, optimize curriculum planning and elevate student success. For example, Academics has onboarded Harmonize, an AI tool to provide insights into students’ participation and engagement in the discussion boards, identifying those who may be at risk of falling behind or becoming disengaged. This enables instructors to intervene early and provide targeted support. 
• Admissions: AI-powered data extraction accelerates transcript processing, enabling faster and more accurate evaluation of student records. This improves efficiency and decision-making speed in the admissions process. 
• Human Resources: Humantelligence software supports smarter hiring and team dynamics through behavior-based AI insights. This helps staff build a culture of alignment and engagement with data-driven team intelligence. 
• Marketing: AI informs targeted outreach strategies, SEO optimization and audience segmentation, allowing ACE to reach mission-aligned students more effectively. 
• Student Success: AI is enhancing support by automating notetaking and summarizing student interactions in real time. This reduces administrative tasks and ensures consistent, accurate records to better serve students. 
• ACE-Wide: Grammarly launched to help staff communicate clearly and professionally, saving time and supporting consistent messaging across teams. Additionally, all staff and board members receive AI training and are invited to participate in coffee chats led by ACE’s HR team.
